The Copenhagen Business School
The Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was founded in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education. In 1965, the business school became a part of the Danish education system and today is regulated by the Danish Universities Act 2003.

CBS has 14,000 students, 1,000 exchange students, 400 full-time researchers and 500 administrative employees, making it one of the 3 largest business schools in Northern Europe.

CBS views itself as a European university, consistently aiming to sustain it's competitiveness at the international level and to be among the top business schools in Europe. Therefore, all the teaching and research is structured with international standards

CBS offers a wide range of study programs, including 11 Bachelor programs, 10 Master's programs, 9 Executive Master's programs and PhD programs. Additionally, CBS runs a variety of study programs through Open University as well as a Summer University Program.

The cornerstone in CBS strategy is Partnership with the local and foreign Business communities. The school developed study programs that meet the needs of business executives and employees for lifelong learning. Furthermore, the students participate in application-orientated research collaboration with the international community.

CBS is EQUIS and CEMS accredited, which means that the quality of its activities has been approved by EFMD, The European Foundation for Management Development and the Community of European Management Schools. CBS is also a member of PIM - Partnership in International Management - a corresponding international consortium of prestigious business schools.
